DEWEY’S READ-A-THON 2015 - YAWN

I got a bit frustrated, because my reading speed is still much slower with English texts, than with German ones. I never realised that but today i could compare both directly. Maybe the slowness is also caused by the fact that I'm starting to get tired ;) But I will fight!

DEWEY’S READ-A-THON 2015 - A NEW START

I just decided to read a book that I didn't put on my tbr list - Moriarty by Anthony Horowitz. It's been lying around in my house for quite a while now. In fact, my boyfriend gave it to me right after it was published, but I never touched it, cause I didn't want it to be finished :D Silly, I know. But is there a better occasion to read it than readathon!?

DEWEY’S READ-A-THON 2015 - Update 1

Yay, I just finished my first book (The Old Child by Jenny Erpenbeck) for today. I am not too sure what to think about it yet, but there will be enough time for reflecting AFTER readathon :)

I'm going to have a wee snack now and then quickly start the next book.

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?I can't decide. They all seem to be brilliant ;)

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?I made savory muffins, which are hopefully delicious. 

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!Is it redundant to say that I love to read? ;) I also enjoy films and recently discovered sewing (a few years I'd never thought I'd go near any form of crafting). And I have a weakness for logical arguments :D

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today?I try to not get lost in social media today and concentrate more on reading ;)

DEWEY’S READ-A-THON 2015 - TBR

This is my 2nd readathon. I am in Germany at the moment, so for me it starts at 2pm. My books are picked, I got a good sleep and I'm well stucked with goodies!

I'll start with a German book, as I recently realised that I haven't read a book in my native language in about 3 years. The Novella Die Geschichte vom alten Kind (The Old Child) by Jenny Erpenbeck is relatively short, so I hope I can start the next book in about two hours.
